Alex Call ‘Soaking In’ World Series Celebration With Dodgers Fans

The Los Angeles Dodgers won back-to-back elimination games on the road against the Toronto Blue Jays to repeat as World Series champions.

While the Dodgers roster had many holdovers from last year’s championship team, there were also several newcomers who got to experience playing in the Fall Classic for the first time.

Alex Call began the 2025 season with the rebuilding Washington Nationals before finding his way to the Dodgers at the MLB trade deadline. Since winning the World Series, Call and other teammates have been given a hero’s welcome around Los Angeles.

Call has enjoyed getting to celebrate the Dodgers’ second consecutive title in the city and said it is something he will forever cherish, via Sports Spectrum:

“Being able to kind of take a parade lap going through L.A. We had the parade, then the next day we go to the Lakers game and next day after that go to the Kings game. Just seeing all the fans super excited about what we were able to accomplish, and they get to be a part of it, just kind of soaking it in. It’s really a surreal moment, when you kind of come full circle and look back to where you started. River Falls, Wisconsin, to Ball State, grinding through the Minor Leagues, and all of a sudden find your way to the Dodgers, on a World Series championship team.

“Going through L.A. and having everybody wave at you and just be super excited about what our team did, really just a surreal time and really fun to soak it all in. Why not? It’s kind of a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Hopefully we can run it back again, but it could be once in a lifetime, so just soak it up.”

The Dodgers celebrated their 2025 World Series championship with another parade through downtown L.A. and subsequent festivities at Dodger Stadium.

Several players the went on to make additional appearances around the city where they were further recognized for their accomplishments.

Call was part of a group that made a visit to Crypto.com Arena to watch the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings play in the days after the Dodgers won the World Series.

Alex Call looked forward to joining Dodgers

At the time of being traded to the Dodgers, Call said he was excited to contribute in any way possible.

“I’m going to be ready for whatever,” Call said in August. “I think there’s obviously a ton of great players here, established players. “Really, whatever they ask of me, I’m going to give it all I have and play to the best of my ability. I’ll be ready for anything.”

Call hit .247/.333/.384 with four doubles, two home runs and five RBI in 38 games with the Dodgers.
