The National League and American League coaches for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park are all set, with the Los Angeles Dodgers’ and New York Yankees’ staffs forming the core group as last season’s World Series representatives.
In addition to their current coaches, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts and Yankees manager Aaron Boone were allowed to extend honorary invitations to join their staff for the 95th Midsummer Classic in Atlanta.
Roberts chose Atlanta Braves skipper Brian Snitker and Miami Marlins’ Clayton McCullough to join him in the NL dugout. Boone opted for Stephen Vogt of the Cleveland Guardians, along with four-time World Series–winning manager and Hall of Famer Joe Torre.
This year is Roberts’ fourth time as manager of an All-Star coaching staff after previously leading the NL in 2018, 2019 and 2021. Roberts has guided the Dodgers to the postseason in each of his first nine seasons as manager, and is looking to make it 10 this season.
As for Boone, this is his first appearance in the Midsummer Classic as a manager or coach. He is currently in his eighth year as manager of the Yankees and has led them to three AL East Division titles and six Postseason appearances. He’s set to become the first Yankees manager since Joe Girardi in 2010 to lead the AL All-Star team.
The 95th Midsummer Classic kicks off on Tuesday, July 15, at 5 p.m. PT and will be televised nationally on Fox.
