2024 World Series: Aaron Judge Excited For In-N-Out & Playing At Dodger Stadium

With the 2024 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees beginning at Dodger Stadium, it gives Aaron Judge a chance to enjoy some of the perks of being back in his home state.

This World Series is the latest in a long line of meetings between the Dodgers and Yankees on MLB’s biggest stage. Their 12 all-time meetings are not only the most in World Series history, but it is also the most common postseason matchup by far.

The series is the first for Judge and the Yankees at Dodger Stadium this season, as they faced the Dodgers for three games at Yankee Stadium in early June for their only prior matchup of 2024.

Judge and the Yankees did make the trip to the West Coast multiple times throughout the season for a couple of series in Southern California against the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Angels. Judge even got the chance to go closer to his hometown in Northern California when the Yankees played the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics.

Now that Judge is back on the West Coast for the World Series, he is looking forward to grabbing a bite to eat at a one of Southern California’s staple fast food chains.

“I always love hitting In-N-Out when we go out to the West Coast. It’s going to be fun,” Judge said. “I’ve got a lot of family down in Southern California, a lot of cousins that are down there, that are going to be coming to the game.”

Another exciting element for the likely 2024 American League MVP is getting to play at least two games at Dodger Stadium, where he famously broke the bullpen gate in right field.

“I’ve always loved playing at Dodger Stadium. It’s an electric atmosphere and one of the best fields in the game,” Judge said.

“I think a lot of guys are definitely looking forward to it. Giancarlo (Stanton) as well, he’s talked about it as his favorite place to play. It’s definitely going to be a good time out there with a lot of friends and family.”

Aaron Judge’s California ties

Judge grew up in the small town of Linden, which is about a two-hour drive from San Francisco. He attended Linden High School where he was a three-sport athlete, playing basketball and football in addition to baseball.

Judge stayed somewhat local and played collegiate baseball for the Fresno State Bulldogs and was picked by the Yankees in 2013 MLB Draft.
