2024 Dodgers World Series Roster: Miguel Rojas, Brusdar Graterol & Alex Vesia Added; Evan Phillips Injured

The Los Angeles Dodgers postseason roster for their World Series matchup against the New York Yankees again features an even split of 13 pitchers and position players, but with Brusdar Graterol, Miguel Rojas and Alex Vesia back in the fold.

Edgardo Henriquez, Evan Phillips and Kevin Kiermaier were removed from the Dodgers’ playoff roster. Phillips dealt with right arm fatigue during his appearance in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series.

The Dodgers also had an equal split of their 26-man roster for both the NL Division Series and NLCS.

However, this represents the first time Graterol has been active for the 2024 postseason. He was put on the 15-day injured list during the final week of the regular season due to right shoulder inflammation.

Vesia and Rojas were both on the Dodgers roster for the NLDS, only to be removed for the NLCS because of respective injuries.

Rojas did not play after being removed from Game 3 against the San Diego Padres due to aggravating his sports hernia injury that’s going to require offseason surgery.

“Miggy Ro is doing well. [Wednesday] he participated in the entire workout, running well, taking at-bats, catching grounders. Everything looks really good,” Roberts said.

Vesia suffered an intercostal injury when warming up to start a second inning of work in winner-take-all Game 5. Vesia threw 15 pitches in a simulated game during the Dodgers’ World Series workout on Wednesday.

“The stuff looked good,” manager Dave Roberts said.

Vesia admitted to doing some lobbying over recent days despite only being an estimated 90% healthy.

Joe Kelly remains off the Dodgers roster, but Roberts indicated he could be an option if the team encounters an injury during the World Series.
