2017 World Series: Start Times Adjusted For Remaining Games Between Dodgers-Astros

Major League Baseball announced all remaining World Series games between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros now have a start time of 5:20 p.m. PT. First pitch at Dodger Stadium for Games 1 and 2 were at 5:09 p.m., which was due to hold true for Games 3 and 4, and if necessary, a Game 6.

Game 5, on Sunday at Minute Maid Park, was initially scheduled to begin at 5:16 p.m., while a potential Game 7 was due to start at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 5:10 p.m. As it currently stands, the World Series will go a minimum of five games.

The 113th Fall Classic began with Clayton Kershaw overpowering an Astros lineup that responded in Game 2 with a rally against the Dodgers’ vaunted bullpen to tie the series.

The victory was the Astros’ first all-time in the World Series. Minute Maid Park now serves as the backdrop for three games, beginning Friday.

Houston is undefeated at home in the 2017 playoffs, and their offensive output has been nearly double the production seen in road games.

Game 3 is a pitching matchup between Yu Darvish and Lance McCullers Jr., while Alex Wood and Charlie Morton are the probables for Game 4 on Saturday. It’s presumed Kershaw and Dallas Keuchel will reprise their duel in Sunday’s Game 5.

The Dodgers are seeking to win their first World Series since 1988. They’re looking to do so in only the eighth matchup in the Fall Classic between teams that both won a minimum of 100 games during the regular season.
