The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Washington Nationals on Ice Cube bobblehead night, but it wasn’t without Dodger Stadium attendance reaching a new single-game high for 2025 with an announced crowd of 54,154.
The previous record was 54,031, which came at the start of June for the Dodgers’ series finale with the New York Yankees on Sunday Night Baseball. L.A. also drew 54,012 fans for their April 26 matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Dave Roberts bobblehead night.
Ice Cube bobblehead night was one of the most highly anticipated promotions of the season, and the beloved rapper took to social media to express his gratitude to the Dodgers for making his dream come true on Saturday.
It was the 10th of 21 scheduled bobblehead nights at Dodger Stadium this season, with the next one coming on July 2 for Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
The Dodgers once again lead all teams in total attendance with 2,180,230 for their home games thus far. The Dodger Stadium average attendance of 50,703 also is tops in baseball.
With 38 home games remaining, the Dodgers are on pace to draw 4 million fans for the first time in franchise history. In 2019 they fell just short with 3,974,309, and last year, they reached 3,941,251.
Dodgers set franchise record
Attendance for the third game between the San Diego Padres and the Dodgers last week drew a crowd of 53,568 at Dodger Stadium. It marked the Dodgers’ 14th sellout in 40 home games this season, and they have since added two more to that total.
That moved the team past 2 million in home attendance for 2025, reaching the milestone faster than any other season in franchise history.
In 2024, it took 42 games for the Dodgers to reach 2 million, and in 2019 – the year the Dodgers set their all-time attendance record – it took 43 games.
