The first Los Angeles Dodgers World Series parade since 1988 begins at City Hall on Friday morning at 11 a.m. PT and culminates with a Dodger Stadium celebration in the early afternoon.

Fans looking to attend the special event at Dodger Stadium were required to purchase tickets. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Los Angeles Dodger Foundation, which is tackling the most pressing problems facing Los Angeles with a mission to improve education, health care, homelessness and social justice for all Angelenos.

Festivities are going to include live music, team stores being open for purchase of merchandise, and food available at concession stands.

All Dodger Stadium guidelines and rules will apply for the event, including fans still not being permitted to bring signs, bags or any other items that aren’t allowed under team policies.

As for the Dodgers’ parade, Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass will kick off the celebration in front of City Hall before double-decker buses transport players on a 45-minute route from 1st Street to Grand Avenue to 5th Street, culminating at the intersection of 5th and Flower Street.

Dodgers fans wishing to attend and line the parade route are encouraged to take public transportation due to significant street closures and limited public parking in the area.
