The Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees meet for the first time since the 2024 World Series with a highly-anticipated matchup between two of the best teams in MLB.
The Dodgers and Yankees begin their matchup with a game that is only being broadcast on Apple TV+ for their weekly “Friday Night Baseball” streams. First pitch at Dodger Stadium schedule for 7:10 p.m. PT.
Wayne Randazzo, Dontrelle Willis and Heidi Watney are working their second consecutive Dodgers game as they were the broadcast trio for last week’s series opener against the New York Mets.
The broadcast will include footage from a drone camera and unique views of the on-field action will be provided with a phantom camera along the first base line and an additional camera worn by the home plate umpire.
For those who want to relive the 2024 World Series, Apple previously produced the Dodgers’ documentary that highlighted their run to their eighth championship in franchise history.
The three-part docuseries promised to provide never-before-seen footage while highlighting all of the most powerful moments from the World Series.
All three of the Dodgers’ games against the Yankees will be broadcast exclusively on national TV with games on Fox and ESPN to wrap up their series. SportsNet LA will not resume broadcasting games until Monday when the Dodgers host the New York Mets.

A paid subscription to Apple TV+, which is available for $9.99 per month, is required. However, there is a seven-day free trail available for new customers. For other qualifying customers, there is a three-month free trial but is dependent on the purchase of a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch.
