The Justin Turner Foundation again is an official charity for the annual Los Angeles Marathon, which has been delayed to Sunday, Nov. 7, because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The course begins at Dodger Stadium, where Justin Turner will serve as the race starter.
Turner has previously done so in the past, and among the runners he will be encouraging are his wife Kourtney Turner, who is running for the Justin Turner Foundation. After running a half marathon in 2018 to raise support for the foundation, Kourtney is preparing to do the full 26-mile trek for a third consecutive year.
This year the L.A. Marathon course will take runners from Dodger Stadium to Avenue of the Stars in Century City.
Those with interest in being part of the Justin Turner Foundation team are asked to email info@justinturnerfoundation.com. Runners can register to take part in the L.A. Big 5K that is being held Saturday, Nov. 6, and/or the half marathon or full marathon.
Registering for the L.A. 5K comes with a $350 minimum fundraising requirement, which increases to $650 for participation in the half or full marathon.
Every team member will receive a Justin Turner Foundation t-shirt designed by Baseballism. The Turners’ foundation and Baseballism previously collaborated on a special shirt for the virtual “Turner Trot” 5K.

Last year the Justin Turner Foundation shattered their $50,000 fundraising goal, with proceeds supporting its various initiatives, including supporting homeless veterans, children and families impacted by life-altering illnesses, and previously organizing a Winter Wonderland event.

$1,000 fundraising: autographed Justin Turner baseball
$1,500 fundraising: autographed bat
$2,500 fundraising: autographed jersey
$5,000 fundraising: autographed baseball, bat and jersey
$7,500 fundraising: autographed baseball, bat and jersey, plus 2021 All-Star Game jersey
