How To Buy Dodgers Tickets For Opening Day At Dodger Stadium, Games Through June 2

The Los Angeles Dodgers sent an email to season ticket holders outlining their policy and plans for admission to Opening Day at Dodger Stadium, plus an additional 28 home games through June 2. The team is permitted to welcome 20% of Dodger Stadium’s capacity — 11,200 fans per game.

Should coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and hospitalizations in L.A. County continue to decline, it would move into the orange tier and potentially yellow tier as well. That would allow the Dodgers to fill Dodger Stadium up to 33% (orange tier) and 67% (yellow tier), respectively.

Season ticket holders have the option to select from two 14-game packages, with neither including the team’s home opener against the Washington Nationals on April 9, but instead a presale opportunity.

Premium season ticket holders (Dugout Club, Baseline Club or Home Run Seats) were offered a seven-game plan with seating in their designated area, or a 14-game plan if they are open to being relocated.

Ticket packages will be sold in pods of two to six tickets in order to allow for the required social distance throughout the stadium. Tickets for each pod must be purchased together and cannot be resold in portions. All Dodger Stadium parking must be purchased in advance.

With the Dodgers eliminating season tickets for home games through June 2, fans who previously paid for those will receive a credit on their account that is to be available for use through 2022.

The ticket policy does not impact home games from June 11 through the end of the 2021 regular season. Season ticket holders are currently expected to retain their seats at that point, but it is subject to change should local policies require.

Lottery for Opening Day at Dodger Stadium

The Dodgers intend to hold a lottery that will be open to non-season ticket holders for an opportunity to purchase a limited number of Opening Day tickets.

That historically is a popular date at Dodger Stadium, and on top of reduced capacity this year, is even more of a hot ticket due to the expected World Series ring ceremony.
