Getting eliminated in the National League Division Series for a second consecutive year was deemed another “organizational failure” by Los Angeles Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman, who has since responded with one of the most successful free agency periods in sports history.

The Dodgers signed Shohei Ohtani to a record-breaking $700 million contract, and followed that by trading for Tyler Glasnow and adding Yoshinobu Yamamoto on a $325 million deal that is the richest for a pitcher in MLB history.

Most recently, the Dodgers reportedly agreed to terms with Teoscar Hernández on a one-year, $23.5 million contract that includes incentives.

Already a perennial World Series contender, the Dodgers appear primed for an exciting 2024 season. With the start of Spring Training and Opening Day fast approaching, DodgerBlue.com is looking to expand its highly-dedicated staff.

Led by executive editor Matthew Moreno and managing editor Blake Williams, DodgerBlue.com is entering a ninth season as a trusted, responsible and credentialed independent outlet. We cover direct from Camelback Ranch during Spring Training, Dodgers home games and select road games, along with events hosted by the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and player charities.

DodgerBlue.com is owned and operated by Medium Large Sports Media. The Medium Large network also includes LakersNation.com, NHLrumors.com, RaidersNewswire.com, RamsNewswire.com, MyNHLdraft.com, MyNBAdraft.com, MyNFLdraft.com, MYMLBdraft.com and SportsCity.com.

If interested in any of the paid Dodgers positions below, please email a résumé, cover letter and writing samples/reel to Jobs@MediumLargeLA.com. Include which opening you are applying for in the subject.

Opportunities could extend to other Medium Large publications if applicant has working knowledge and passion for additional sports covered.
