The Los Angeles Dodgers look to remain undefeated since the All-Star break as they host the San Francisco Giants in the second of a four-game series.

Miguel Rojas remains out of the Dodgers lineup as he recovers from right forearm inflammation that has been deemed relatively minor. Rojas explained the discomfort stemmed from taking one-handed swings in the batting cage with a heavier bat than normally used.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said when the Giants series began that he planned to get Rojas back into the lineup on Wednesday night.

Kiké Hernández once again starts at shortstop in his absence, but with a right-hander on the mound for San Francisco, Cavan Biggio is playing third base.

Hernández has a hit in two of his past three games, with one of those entailing making MLB history due to the nature and timing of them.

Biggio has also seen a recent uptick in production with a hit three of his last five games.

Hernández, Biggio and rest of the Dodgers lineup aim for success against Jordan Hicks. The 27-year-old is 4-6 with a 3.79 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 19 games.

Hicks allowed five runs in his last start, three in back-to-back outings prior to that and five as well on June 22. But when he faced the Dodgers at Oracle Park on May 13, they managed just two runs in his five innings pitched.

Landon Knack is on the mound for the Dodgers in his first start of the unofficial second half. He enters 1-2 with a 3.23 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in eight games (seven starts) so far this season.

Knack’s relief appearance came in his last time pitching as the Dodgers utilized an opener against the Philadelphia Phillies. He entered with a 1-0 deficit and allowed three runs over 4.1 innings of an eventual 5-1 loss for the Dodgers.
