The 2023 ESPN Sunday Night Baseball finale on September 24 is going to feature the final game of a four-game series between the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers. First pitch at Dodger Stadium was changed to 4:10 p.m. PT for the national broadcast.

Karl Ravech is going to handle play-by-play duties alongside analysts David Cone and Eduardo Perez, in addition to reporter Buster Olney. SportsNet LA will not have its own coverage of the game.

Sunday Night Baseball additionally will be available in Spanish on ESPN Deportes, with Ernesto Jerez, Luis Alfredo Álvarez, Guillermo Celis and Enrique Rojas providing commentary and analysis.

“Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown” precedes Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN with one-hour pregame shows at 3 p.m. PT every week. All Sunday Night Baseball games and shows will be available to stream via the ESPN App.

The upcoming telecast will mark the Dodgers’ fifth appearance on Sunday Night Baseball this season. They were previously selected for their May 7 game against the San Diego Padres, June 4 contest against the New York Yankees, June 25 matchup against the Houston Astros and August 6 game against the Padres.

The Dodgers have gone just 4-4 against the Giants this year, but the teams find themselves in vastly different situations as the regular season winds down.

The Dodgers have clinched their 10th NL West title in the last 11 seasons, while the Giants’ postseason hopes via the Wild Card have effectively faded.

ESPN Sunday Night Baseball finale still meaningful for Dodgers & Giants

Although they aren’t battling for the NL West title like in recent seasons, the Sunday Night Baseball finale between the Dodgers and Giants still figures to be meaningful for both teams.

L.A. is looking to secure home-field advantage in the playoffs and San Francisco remains mathematically alive for the third Wild Card spot.
