As part of the Netflix is a Joke: The Festival returning in 2022, comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias is scheduled to perform at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, May 7. Iglesias is the first comedian to ever headline a stand-up show at Chavez Ravine.
The night is part of a Netflix festival that is due to feature more than 130 artists performing in over 25 different venues across Los Angeles. Iglesias’ show at Dodger Stadium will be recorded for his newest Netflix special.
Tickets for Iglesias’ historic set and other shows for the festival went on sale to the general public Friday morning.
Netflix has also tabbed Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, Seth Rogen, Larry David, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Jane Fonda, Jerry Seinfeld, David Letterman, Chelsea Handler and more to perform during its festival that runs April 28-May 8.
Dave Chappelle and Friends open the stretch of shows at Hollywood Bowl, and a recorded special, “The Hall: Honoring the Greats of Stand-Up,” that will feature the top performers in comedy paying homage to Joan Rivers and Robin Williams more, closes the Netflix festival at the Hollywood Palladium.
In addition to Iglesias, several of the performances will be recorded and stream at a later date as Netflix specials.
