FOCO released a new Shohei Ohtani bobblehead to commemorate his first Los Angeles Dodgers home run. The Ohtani bobblehead is individually numbered out of 401.

Like with other releases, Ohtani’s newest bobblehead from FOCO won’t be restocked once quantities sell out.

The bobblehead replicates Ohtani’s swing that produced a 105.6 mph exit velocity and 430-foot home run. Those details are included on the backdrop, along with the April 3, 2024 date.

The text display also includes “First Home Run With The Los Angeles Dodgers” to further highlight the monumental blast at Dodger Stadium.

The Ohtani bobblehead stands eight inches tall. The Dodgers are also planning two Ohtani bobblehead giveaways this season.

Dodger Stadium went into a frenzy as Ohtani rounded the bases and he was met by exuberant teammates, including Teoscar Hernández playfully throwing a handful of sunflower seeds in his face.

Ohtani and Hernández have quickly formed what appears to be a strong bond, evident by the latter teaching the two-way superstar how to speak Spanish on Dodgers Photo Day during Spring Training.

Shohei Ohtani ‘very relieved’

While Ohtani’s talent is not in question, there seemingly had been mounting pressure as he’d gotten off to a power-less start in his Dodgers career.

“Honestly, very relieved that I was able to hit my first homer,” Ohtani said through interpreter Will Ireton. “It’s been a while and honestly my swing hasn’t been great. So overall, very relieved.

“My impression was it was getting a little longer than my expectations, and during those situations it’s easy to become anxious. So I was overall just relieved.”
