FOCO released a new Freddie Freeman bobblehead to celebrate his accomplishment of reaching 2,000 career hits. The Freeman bobblehead is a limited edition and will not be restocked once quantities sell out.
Freeman reached the milestone in the eighth inning on Sunday as he helped the Los Angeles Dodgers rally from a deficit before their eventual loss to the Houston Astros in the 11th. Earlier this season, Freeman hit his 300th career home run in a Dodgers’ loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
“I seem to get these milestones in losses,” Freeman quipped after the Dodgers settled for a series win against the Astros.
The Freeman bobblehead fittingly has him in an action pose of collecting a hit.
Freeman’s bobblehead is going to be dressed in the home Dodgers uniform, set atop a team-colored base complete with the logo, and “2,000 hits milestone” in text will be displayed across the front.
Freeman is the seventh player to reach 2,000 career hits while with the Dodgers, and the first to do so since Adrián González accomplished the feat against the Pittsburgh Pirates on August 22, 2017.
Freeman additionally is the 98th player in MLB history with a minimum 2,000 hits and 300 career home runs.

After arriving at second base on the double for 2,000 hits, Freeman received a standing ovation and chants of “Freddie” from those in attendance at Dodger Stadium. Freeman tipped his cap and pointed to his family that was seated in the Dugout Club.
“Just seeing how happy my dad, my stepmom, my wife and my kids were for me, just makes it special,” Freeman said. “Obviously the fans have embraced my family and I since the day we got here. They made another special memory for the Freeman family again. Dodgers fans, they never disappoint.
“Another special day and one I’ll never forget. Took long enough, but glad it happened at home.”
