FOCO Selling New Dodger Dog, Yoshinobu Yamamoto Bobblehead & Shohei Ohtani Embroidered Bear

FOCO celebrated the Los Angeles Dodgers resuming their 2024 schedule with the release of a new Dodger Dog bobblehead, one for Yoshinobu Yamamoto and a Shohei Ohtani embroidered bear.

The Dodger Dog bobblehead is part of FOCO’s mascot series and has the popular fare standing behind a cart, ready to serve customers. It’s dressed in a white uniform and wearing the Dodgers’ trademark blue cap.

This season is the fourth year the Dodger Dog at Dodger Stadium is being supplied by Papa Cantella’s, who replaced Farmer John.

“Like the Dodgers, our history and community ties run deep in Los Angeles. We could not be more proud to be partnering with this iconic brand and product,” Papa Cantella president Tony Cantella said when the multi-year partnership with the Dodgers was announced.

Another Dodgers bobblehead just released by FOCO is in recognition of Yamamoto’s first MLB season. Yamamoto is placed atop a base that features a “Star Rookie” banner and “Welcome To The Show” message on the back.

The Dodgers signed Yamamoto to a record-breaking 12-year, $325 million contract. It’s the richest deal for a pitcher in MLB history.

Yamamoto’s MLB debut was a rocky performance but he expressed confidence in being able to get on track moving forward. Yamamoto is making his Dodger Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday.

The Yamamoto bobblehead is limited to 96 units and won’t be restocked once quantities sell out.

Having already sold numerous Ohtani bobbleheads, FOCO now has a limited-edition embroidered bear of the two-way star available. The blue bear is dressed in a home white Dodgers uniform with Ohtani’s 17 jersey number and last name.

The bottom of the bear’s left foot has the edition size and which number the individual product is.

Shohei Ohtani’s throwing program

Ohtani played catch on Friday for the second time since undergoing Tommy John surgery last September. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said the expectation is Ohtani’s throwing program will be an every-other-day schedule for the time being.
