FOCO released a new Shohei Ohtani bobblehead that pairs the Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star with Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros.
The dual bobblehead has Ohtani in the road Dodgers uniform and Alvarez wearing the Astros’ home white, and sharing a base that includes a thematic backdrop of Minute Maid Park.
Also on the backdrop are the logos of both teams, plus a “HAVOC IN HOUSTON” text display. The front of the base has the names of star players and logos for the Dodgers and Astros as well.

The bobblehead of Ohtani and Alvarez is limited to a run of 224 units and won’t be restocked once quantities sell out. It was made available in conjunction of the Dodgers and Astros beginning a series this weekend.
The first matchup was selected for a Friday Night Baseball exclusive stream on Apple TV+.
FOCO previously released Ohtani in a dual bobblehead set with Aaron Judge when the Dodgers faced the New York Yankees, and again with Bryce Harper for what ended up being a series sweep by the Philadelphia Phillies.
Ohtani now being paired with Alvarez is a fit from the standpoint of both are among the best sluggers in baseball, but of course there is the tainted history between the Dodgers and Astros from the 2017 World Series cheating scandal.
Meanwhile, Alvarez has further ties to the Dodgers organization as originally being one of their international free-agent signings. The Dodgers traded Alvarez to the Astros for Josh Fields in August 2016.
