Walter Alston, Lasorda and Roberts are the only managers in Dodgers franchise history to win multiple championships.
FOCO’s bobblehead has Lasorda and Roberts positioned on what resembles a dugout bench. They each have one knee up and are wearing a World Series ring.
The front of the base includes a “WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS” text display, “LA” Dodgers logo, managers’ names, years they won titles and miniature trophy accents.
Lasorda spent 21 seasons as Dodgers manager, beginning in 1976. He oversaw for four National League pennants and the aforementioned two World Series titles with the franchise.
Lasorda remained a fixture in the Dodgers organization after retiring and until passing away in January 2021. The Dodgers retired No. 2 for Lasorda on August 15, 1997.
Roberts is well on his way to joining Lasorda in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Roberts holds the best winning percentage among all managers in the modern era.
