FOCO added to its expansive offering of Los Angeles Dodgers bobbleheads with two new limited-edition releases that highlight Freddie Freeman, Gil Hodges and Trayce Thompson.
Freeman and Hodges are paired together for a bobblehead as All-Star Dodgers first basemen. The bobblehead is limited to 223 units and won’t be restocked once quantities sell out.
Hodges spent 16 of his 18 seasons in the Majors playing for the Dodgers. He appeared in 2,006 games and hit .274/.360/.488 with 294 doubles, 361 home runs and 1,254 RBI, and was an eight-time All-Star during that span.
Hodges was on Dodgers teams that won a National League pennant in 1947, 1949, 1952, 1953, 1955 and 1956, and he played for the 1955 Brooklyn team that won the World Series. The Dodgers retired Hodges’ No. 14 jersey during the 2022 season.
Freeman is in his second season after unexpectedly signing with the team following the MLB lockout. Freeman led the Majors with 199 hits and 47 doubles last year.
Meanwhile, the Thompson bobblehead was a special release to commemorate his career-best three-home run game. Thompson additionally set a career high with eight RBI in the win against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Thompson’s big night began with a grand slam off Madison Bumgarner, which was particularly key in that the Dodgers are relying on him to improve against left-handed pitching this season.
