FOCO released a new Los Angeles Dodgers bobblehead of Shohei Ohtani that differs from previous versions in that it also includes his dog, “Dekopin,” whose given name in English is “Decoy.”
The bobblehead portrays Ohtani posing on the couch with his dog, a Dutch Kooikerhondje. A Dodgers cap is also featured on the couch and a team-themed lamp sits beside it. The carpet-textured portion of the base also is a Dodgers theme.
Ohtani’s and Decoy’s names are displayed on the front of the base, in addition to the Dodgers’ logo. The limited edition bobblehead will not be restocked once quantities sell out. Previous releases quickly sold out, making the latest version a must-have for Dodgers fans and dog lovers alike.

Decoy gained popularity from sitting alongside Ohtani when the 2023 American League MVP Award winner was announced on MLB Network.
It wasn’t until Ohtani’s introductory press conference at Dodger Stadium that his dog’s name was revealed. Prior to that point, speculation ran rampant and some suggested Decoy’s name was in actuality a clue as to which team he would sign with in free agency.
When Ohtani announced on Instagram that he was married, the photo used with Japanese text on it also had a picture of Dekopin.
“We hope the two of us — and one animal — will work together,” Ohtani wrote.
In January, Decoy received a fake Visa from the United States embassy in Japan.
