FOCO Selling New Dodgers Bobblehead Of Clayton Kershaw’s Sports Illustrated Cover

Lining up with Clayton Kershaw turning in a gem against the St. Louis Cardinals, FOCO released a new Los Angeles Dodgers bobblehead of the longtime ace.

The Kershaw bobblehead takes from his time on the Sports Illustrated cover for their baseball preview of the 2013 season. Kershaw is posed like he did for the SI cover, and positioned on a base that features his name along with the trademark Dodgers logos.

Kershaw’s new bobblehead is limited to a quantity of 100 units and will not be restocked once sold out. The figurine stands 8 inches tall.

The 2013 season marked the start of the Dodgers winning the National League West eight years in a row, and in nine of the past 10.

Kershaw went 16-9 with a 1.83 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in 33 starts during the 2013 season. He earned a third consecutive All-Star Game selection, led the Majors in ERA and a 194 ERA+, led all NL pitchers with 232 strikeouts and two shutouts, and won the first of two Cy Young Awards.

Kershaw additionally finished in seventh place for NL MVP. He of course went on to win MVP in 2014, becoming the first Dodgers pitcher to receive the award since Don Newcombe in 1956. Kershaw also was the first NL pitcher to win Cy Young and MVP in the same season since Bob Gibson swept the awards in 1968.

Also available for preorder from FOCO is a Kershaw bobblehead that commemorates his 200 career wins. He accomplished the feat in a shutout against the New York Mets.

Kershaw became the 121st pitcher in MLB history to reach 200 wins and only the third in Dodgers franchise history, joining Don Sutton (233 wins) and Don Drysdale (209).
