FOCO released new bobbleheads on Tuesday morning of Los Angeles Dodgers rookies James Outman and Miguel Vargas. Both bobbleheads are individually numbered to 96 units each.
Outman and Vargas were selected along with the Boston Red Sox’s Tristan Casas, José Hernández of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Baltimore Orioles’ Joey Wentz as standout rookies for their latest bobbleheads series. None of the items will be restocked once quantities sell out.
Multiple Clayton Kershaw bobbleheads have recently sold out and so too did a special Snoopy model as part of a Peanuts collection, but versions of Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Roy Campanella and others are still available from FOCO.
Outman and Vargas made their respective MLB debut during the 2022 season but each has taken on a larger role this year. Vargas is learning a new position on the fly to be the Dodgers’ starting second baseman, and Outman has primarily played center field.
Outman got off to a blistering start at the plate and earned National League Rookie of the Month honors in April. Vargas followed suit in May and appeared to be on his way to receiving that recognition this month, but has cooled off some.
