FOCO released new bobbleheads of Shohei Ohtani and the Dodger Dog, with each set to a patch collection theme that surrounds the base.
The Ohtani bobblehead portrays him in the home Dodgers uniform and in the pose of taking a swing. He’s set atop a wood-textured base that includes “SHOHEI OHTANI” and “LOS ANGELES DODGERS” text displays on the front.

Throughout the base of the bobblehead are various patches that highlight significant moments in Dodgers franchise history, including their first World Series title in 1955, 50th anniversary at Dodger Stadium and 60th year in Los Angeles, among other designs.
The Dodger Dog bobblehead includes the same retro patches around the base, and it also dressed in the home uniform. It’s been converted to a mascot and is posed in the act of making a catch.
Both new Dodgers bobbleheads are considered a limited edition with a production run of 125 units each. Neither item will be restocked once quantities sell out.
FOCO is additionally selling a boxed set of mini Dodgers bobbleheads for Peanuts characters, a version to celebrate Ohtani’s return to pitching and another that commemorates his reaching 200 career home runs.
Ohtani is poised to make his second start as a Dodgers pitcher on Sunday. The team has not specified if he will again pitch one inning or potentially extend into the second.
Has the Dodger Dog changed?
The Dodger Dog grew to fame as a Farmer John product but the official supplier changed to Papa Cantella’s beginning in 2021. A vegetarian version is supplied by Field Roast.
Changing from Farmer John to Papa Cantella’s brought about some controversy. Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten explained at the time of the switch to Papa Cantella’s that maintaining the expected standards of the Dodger Dog were a priority for the team.
“Like the Dodgers, our history and community ties run deep in Los Angeles. We could not be more proud to be partnering with this iconic brand and product,” Papa Cantella president Tony Cantella said when the multi-year partnership with the Dodgers was announced.
