The Los Angeles Dodgers lineup is led at the top by Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Trea Turner, and the trio is celebrated in a new release by FOCO. The Dodgers bobblehead set of the three All-Stars in mini form was made available for preorder Tuesday morning.
The triple bobblehead is individually numbered out of 222 units and will not be restocked once quantities sell out. FOCO previously sold out of Freeman bobbleheads to commemorate his signing and another in a Dodgers City Connect uniform, along with a version commemorating Clayton Kershaw’s franchise record for strikeouts, and Betts in an Opening Day design.
The latest Dodgers collectible from the officially licensed merchandiser has Freeman again in the all-blue uniform. He’s placed at the center of the base, with Betts to the left and Turner on the right.
Betts is dressed in a road uniform and Turner is outfitted in the Dodgers’ home white to represent each of the jerseys the team wears.
All three players have their name featured in front of them in the form of the historic Dodger Stadium video board design.
After getting off to a slow start, Betts has put together an impressive showing over the past month. Betts leads the National League with 15 home runs and his 22 extra-base hits are a Dodgers franchise record for most in May.
The mark was previously held by Jackie Robinson, who hit 21 extra-base hits in May 1949.
Betts’ success has helped set the table for Freeman, who again is proving to be a model of consistency in his first season with the Dodgers. Freeman has embraced batting second in the Dodgers lineup and expressed his gratitude for Betts making matters easy for him.
Turner is on a 22-game hitting streak, which is his third such stretch of at least 16 games since being traded to the Dodgers last year.
Betts, Freeman and Turner each have a Dodgers bobblehead being given away at Dodger Stadium later this season as well.
