As the World Series begins on Monday, all games between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays are going to be televised by Fox.
Dodgers fans will hear a familiar voice with Joe Davis remaining in his seat as the lead MLB play-by-play man for Fox, and he’s going to be accompanied in the booth by John Smoltz.
Although MLB postseason games are carried by national networks, SportsNet LA is continuing with their coverage through the World Series.
Throughout the duration of the matchup against the Blue Jays, SportsNet LA is going to provide comprehensive coverage through “Leadoff LA” and “Access SportsNet: Dodgers” live shows prior to and after each game.
First pitch for every World Series game is scheduled for 5 p.m. PT.
Exclusive interviews and analysis is going to be led by host John Hartung alongside Orel Hershiser, Nomar Garciaparra and Jerry Hairston Jr. Kirsten Watson will continue providing updates and clubhouse access directly from Rogers Centre and Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers are looking to become MLB’s first repeat champion since the New York Yankees won three titles in a row from 1998-2000. They already became the first defending champion to reach the World Series since the Philadelphia Phillies in 2009.
The Blue Jays are playing in the World Series for the first time since 1993. That was part of a two-year stretch that saw Toronto win back-to-back titles.
