The Los Angeles Dodgers enter the final week of their regular season schedule with a four-game set against the Colorado Rockies that begins with a doubleheader on Tuesday at Coors Field.
The Dodgers and Rockies are at different ends of the National League West, with manager Dave Roberts guiding his club to a 96-59 record and 10th division title in the past 11 seasons. The Dodgers are in position to reach the 100-win mark for the fourth time since 2019.
Caleb Ferguson gets the ball as the opener for the first game, a role that the Dodgers project him being in the postseason. It’s the seventh time the left-hander has started a game this season, and third in his last four appearances.
The Dodgers have highlighted Ferguson’s ability to pitch up in the zone with a primarily fastball-heavy arsenal, as he’s posted a 2.47 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, with a .251 batting average allowed in 58.1 innings.
He’ll give way to Ryan Pepiot, who’s also making a strong case for the postseason roster. Over 33 innings, he’s logged a 1.91 ERA, with 26 strikeouts and a 0.70 WHIP.
Roberts highlighted Pepiot’s bring spots, noting that he appears primed for a spot on the playoff roster because of his versatility. Pepiot has been terrific, finding the success on his changeup, and riding that with his power fastball.
The Rockies counter with veteran Chase Anderson, who makes his 17th start of the season. The 35-year-old owns a 5.75 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, with 60 strikeouts in his 18 appearances.
His prior two outings were solid, allowing three earned runs over 13.1 innings pitched with 10 strikeouts. Anderson has pitched better in Coors Field than on the road, carrying a 4.66 ERA in 10 games when pitching at home.

Doubleheader Game 2
Bobby Miller gets the ball in the second game of the doubleheader, looking to build on his strong rookie season. He makes his 21st start of the season, carrying a 3.97 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, with 106 strikeouts across 113.1 innings pitched.
The 24-year-old has ramped up his strikeout numbers as of late, punching out 22 batters over his last 18.2 innings. Miller has yet to pitch in the elevation of Coors Field, which could pose some issues if his feel is off.
In the month of September, Miller has posted a 3.86 ERA in four starts, logging 27 strikeouts to just six walks. He’s limiting batters to a .200 batting average, as well.
The Rockies send 27-year-old Ryan Feltner out for the second game. The right-hander makes his 10th start of the season, looking to try to limit a Dodgers offense that could feast on his 5.13 ERA, 1.64 WHIP with just 38 strikeouts in 40.1 innings.
