The Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves will play Game 6 of the National League Championship Series at 5:08 p.m. PT. Timing for first pitch was dependent on the American League Championship Series, which concluded with the Houston Astros eliminating the Boston Red Sox in six games.

That that series gone to a Game 7 on Saturday, the Dodgers and Braves were due to have a 2:08 p.m. start time. Instead they will be back under the lights at Truist Park, with L.A. looking to win an eighth consecutive elimination game.

Their current streak began when the Braves took a 3-1 lead in last year’s NLCS. The Dodgers extended it on Thursday night behind a historic performance from Chris Taylor.

“One of the happier flights I’ve been looking forward to,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after the 11-2 win. “So, yeah, I’m very excited. Honestly, it’s baseball and I’m happy that we gave you guys a series. I expected our guys to fight and scratch and claw and I thought we did that.

“It’s going to be a crazy environment in Atlanta. We know that. I like the guys we’re going to be running out there and we just got to go out there and play to win one game. So our backs are against the wall and I don’t expect a letdown, but, yeah, I’m looking forward to that flight.”

All NLCS games have been exclusively televised by TBS, and they will again have pregame coverage leading up to first pitch. All MLB postseason games airing on TBS can be live-streamed at tbs.com and the Watch TBS App.

Dodgers need to replace Scherzer

Although Roberts was optimistic with sending the NLCS back to Atlanta, that has waned with reports of Max Scherzer no longer being scheduled to make the start in Game 6.

Scherzer pitched just 4.1 innings in Game 2 due to arm fatigue and has not recovered well enough despite being slated to take the mound on an extra day of rest this weekend.
