As part of the 2024 MLB Spring Breakout games, the Los Angeles Angels are hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday at Tempe Diablo Stadium in an exhibition featuring some of the organizations’ top prospects.

The seven-inning matchup will follow the Angels’ traditional Cactus League game against the Chicago Cubs as the second half of a doubleheader.

The Dodgers roster consists of four of the organization’s top-10 prospects ranked by MLB Pipeline heading into the 2024 season, including catcher Dalton Rushing (No. 1), outfielder Josue De Paula (No. 4), pitcher Jackson Ferris (No. 8) and catcher Thayron Liranzo (No. 10).

Rushing noted that he is excited to be part of the Dodgers’ talented roster and looking forward to catching pitching prospect Justin Wrobleski.

The Angels roster is headlined by No. 3 ranked prospect Caden Dana, who will likely start against the Dodgers.

MLB Spring Breakout is a four-day event showcasing some of the brightest prospects in the sport. A total of 16 games will be played from March 14-17 at Grapefruit and Cactus League stadiums.

The Dodgers are only playing one Spring Breakout game.
