The Los Angeles Dodgers kicked off their 15th annual community service week on Monday, with events scheduled to take place through Friday, Jan. 26, in the greater Los Angeles area. The week consists of 12 events that feature players, coaches, alumni and broadcasters.
On Tuesday, Yasiel Puig took part in the fun and made a surprise appearance at a McDonald’s location in Glendale, Calif., where he took customers’ orders and displayed his skills on the grill.
Puig also posted for photographs and signed some autographs for the lucky customers who made the trip. He was on hand Monday at Dodger Stadium when the team welcomed more than 300 firefighters, and is expected to be part of additional stops this week.
Below is a recap of Puig taking orders, making burgers and serving customers, via the Dodgers and AM 570 L.A. Sports Radio.
