The latest challenge to go viral on popular social media app TikTok involves FaceTiming a friend and telling them you’re busy and can’t talk right now before hanging up.
Many celebrities have participated in the trend, including singer Justine Skye, who pranked the likes of Kendall Jenner, Jamie Foxx and Lil Yachty.
The challenge has since entered the sports world, as last month, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith pranked their fellow “Inside the NBA” analysts.
With Opening Day less than a week away, Justin Turner did the same to Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, Joe Kelly, Walker Buehler and Cody Bellinger, among others.

Turner’s first victim was Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, who tells him he’s busy and to talk to him tomorrow. A confused Roberts responds as most people would in that situation, uttering a “huh?” before the call ends.
Turner’s next call goes to Walker Buehler, who can only laugh after Turner tells him “not on the off day” before hanging up. Turner then moves on to Clayton Kershaw and Joe Kelly, who also are left confused by the call.
Finally, Turner FaceTimes Cody Bellinger and tries pranking him the same way. However, Bellinger didn’t fall for it as he knew right away that Turner was participating in the TikTok challenge.
Turner encouraged by results of weight loss
After re-signing with the Dodgers on a multi-year contract, Turner reported to Spring Training much slimmer, which was a byproduct of participating in a Whole30 diet along with his wife Kourtney.
“The last four or five years I’ve always had a goal of trying to get down to around 200 pounds, if not just under 200 pounds,” Turner explained.
“I always have kind of plateaued at 201, 202 and never really been able to get there. So when my wife wanted to do this Whole30 diet, I jumped on board and started seeing results right away. I think I got down as low as 192 at one point.
“Working my way back up to getting right around 200 pounds, but just doing it the right way. Eating good and eating clean.”
