Tuesday night was a memorable one at Dodger Stadium as not only did Justin Turner have his first career three-home run game, Hyun-Jin Ryu tossed his second ever complete-game shutout to help the Los Angeles Dodgers cruise to a 9-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves.
Ryu had all his pitches working from the first inning on as he carried a perfect game into the sixth inning. While it was eventually broken up, he did not let a runner get past second base en route to the four-hit shutout.
Ryu needed just 93 pitches to complete the game, which is known as a ‘Maddux.’ As is usually the case at Dodger Stadium, there were plenty of celebrities on-hand to see Ryu dominate.
The night started with Kiss lead singer Gene Simmons singing the National Anthem, accompanied by Dodgers organist Dieter Ruehle.
Korean pop star and BTS (Beyond the Scene) member Yoongi (also known as Suga) was also at the game and got a chance to go on the field before the game.

Yoongi then watched his fellow South Korea native blank the Braves to imorove his record to 4-1 on the season. After the game, the two stars met and embraced each other outside of the Dodgers clubhouse.

It sure looks like Yoongi had fun during his first trip to Dodger Stadium, so hopefully that means that he will be back soon as he served as a good luck charm for the Dodgers, who will go for the three-game sweep over the Braves on Wednesday night.
