Guillermo from “Jimmy Kimmel Live” recently visited Dodger Stadium to try out for a spot on the Los Angeles Dodgers ball crew.

Guillermo was interviewed by manager Dave Roberts before going through a slew of drills, including throwing and catching, ball handling and throwing speed. Guillermo had a catch with Justin Turner before receiving an “expert evaluation” from Roberts.

Roberts deemed Guillermo “one of the most unathletic people” he’s ever seen but gave him the good news that he earned a spot on the Dodgers ball crew.

Unfortunately for Guillermo, he was immediately let go after falling asleep on the job. Not all was lost, however, as Roberts revealed that Guillermo is invited to participate in the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, July 16.

Guillermo rose to prominence while working as a parking lot security guard, and along with now joining Jimmy Kimmel in the studio, is often sent to award shows, movie premieres and other major events throughout L.A.

Guillermo has visited Dodger Stadium on multiple occasions in the past, including 2020, when he had a socially-distanced chat with Clayton Kershaw.

Guillermo joining Andre Ethier in Celebrity Softball Game

The MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game will feature stars from stage, screen, music, sports, and the internet along with MLB legends. Along with Guillermo, longtime Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier is among those scheduled to play in the exhibition.

Other confirmed participants are Bad Bunny, Anthony Ramos, The Kid Mero, Bryan Cranston, Simu Liu, J.K. Simmons and JoJo Siwa.
