Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, everyone in the country is currently forced to be quarantined to their respective homes to keep it from spreading.
That means that the start of the 2020 Major League Baseball season has been delayed, which is unfortunate for the Los Angeles Dodgers as they were in the midst of a strong spring and are the favorites to come out of the National League.
There currently is no telling when the season will be able to start, but the league is discussing a variety of different options, with perhaps the most feasible being to play the entire season at Spring Training complexes in Arizona with no fans.
In the meantime, the players are doing everything they can to stay in shape while being stuck in their own homes so that they are ready whenever a season does take place.
Clayton Kershaw is among the Dodgers pitchers playing catch during this time, which isn’t surprising considering he is one of the hardest-working players in the league.
Like everyone else though, it appears Kershaw has some time on his hands as he appeared in a celebrity Zoom call that ESPN’s Katie Nolan set up thanks to former teammate Brandon McCarthy, via Always Late With Katie Nolan:
"Who's the most famous person you could get to join this zoom call?"
The answer(s) are amazing 😂 pic.twitter.com/4PBleGGYDe

The premise of the call was for ESPN employees to get the most famous person possible to join without telling them what the reason for the call is. Once the famous people were on the call though, they began inviting even more, which is what led to McCarthy getting a confused Kershaw to join.
Kershaw was certainly in the mix for the most famous person on the call along with former NBA star Dwyane Wade and “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.
While Kershaw did not stick around long, it was good to see him show face to know that he is still healthy and getting through this difficult time with his family.
