Dodgers Video: Brusdar Graterol, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Michael Grove & Bobby Miller Try Korean Snacks

The Los Angeles Dodgers are helping kick off the 2024 MLB World Tour by playing the San Diego Padres in the Seoul Series from March 20-21.

Tyler Glasnow was named the Dodgers’ Opening Day starter and Yamamoto is starting the second game of the series at Gocheok Sky Dome. Glasnow is going to be opposed by Yu Darvish, with the Padres then starting Joe Musgrove opposite Yamamoto in the finale of MLB’s first games in South Korea.

While the Dodgers have spent the past month preparing for an early start to the 2024 season, some also participated in a social media video of trying Korean snacks.

Michael Grove and Bobby Miller did so together, while Yamamoto and Brusdar Graterol ate the Korean treats individually.

There was some agreement within the group on how spicy one of the Korean snacks was and another that featured chocolate filling.

Miller was alone in expressing his disdain over a fish-flavored snack, noting he is not a fan of any seafood. That could prove somewhat challenging for the 24-year-old as he is traveling with the Dodgers to South Korea and is expected to start one of the exhibition games.

Miller presumably will take comfort in eating ramen, which was a popular choice among the Dodgers who sampled the Korean snacks.

Grove is also going to be with the Dodgers for their international opener, but Graterol is missing the Korea games due to hip tightness and right shoulder discomfort.

Dodgers details for Seoul Series

The Dodgers’ flight to South Korea departs Thursday morning and they land in Seoul on March 15. The team is scheduled to have a workout that evening and one on Saturday as well.

Those will be followed by exhibition games against the Kiwoom Heroes and Team Korea, respectively, before Opening Day of the Seoul Series.
