The Los Angeles Dodgers made it a point to not part with Alex Verdugo at the non-waiver trade deadline, and the young outfielder has continued with his impressive season for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

On Wednesday night, Verdugo clubbed a three-run home run in the 11th inning that led Oklahoma City to a 6-3 win over the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim affiliate) in Las Vegas. The win was OKC’s fourth in the past five games.

Verdugo finished the night 2-for-4 with one walk. The homer was his fifth this season and first since July 25. Verdugo’s three RBI were a game-high, while Adrian Gonzalez drove in two runs.

On the year Verdugo is batting .314/.385/.433 with 22 doubles, four triples and 57 RBI in 100 games. He’s one of the Dodgers’ top prospects and among the youngest players in the Pacific Coast League.

The 21-year-old is second on the team in doubles and triples, and third in RBI. Verdugo was one of two Dodgers to represent the organization in the 2017 Futures Game. The Dodgers are expected to call up Verdugo for his MLB debut once active rosters expand in September.

This season is his first with Oklahoma City since being selected in the second round of the 2014 Draft.
