Dodgers Updates: Blake Snell, Blake Treinen Continue Rehab Assignments In Arizona Complex League

While much of the sports world focused on the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park and eventual first Home Run Derby swing-off in the event’s history, Los Angeles Dodgers teammates Blake Snell and Blake Treinen continued their respective rehab assignments on Tuesday.

The pair of pitchers reported to the Arizona Complex League to appear in a game against Minor Leaguers from the Cleveland Guardians organization.

Snell started for the ACL Dodgers and gave up one run over three innings. He finished with seven strikeouts and allowed three hits in total.

The ACL Guardians scored their lone run off Snell behind back-to-back doubles to start the first inning. They added onto their lead throughout the game before breaking it open with seven runs in the eighth inning en route to a 12-0 win at the Goodyear Ballpark Spring Training facility.

Treinen was the first reliever to follow Snell, and he too allowed one run. That came on a solo homer by Dauri Fernandez. Treinen struck out one batter in his lone inning of work.

Specific pitch tracking data and info are not available from the ACL game.

What’s next for Blake Snell, Blake Treinen

The start on Tuesday was Snell’s second of his rehab assignment. He completed two scoreless innings for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on July 10, throwing 31 pitches (23 strikes) in the outing.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has suggested Snell’s rehab assignment would be similar to that of Tyler Glasnow’s. The right-hander made four starts for Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to being activated off the 60-day injured list.

Snell has been on the injured list since April 6 (retroactive to April 3) because of left shoulder inflammation.

Treinen’s appearance for the ACL Dodgers was a third on his rehab assignment that began with the Comets on July 9. The right-hander additionally pitched for the Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate on July 12.

In his three rehab games thus far, Treinen has allowed two runs (one earned) and collected four strikeouts across three innings.
