Since the launch of Spectrum SportsNet LA in 2014, the network has provided fans with a unique glimpse into the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and earned several Emmy Awards for their programming.

This season, SportsNet LA recorded their highest-ever ratings with an 11 percent increase in household rating (1.73 vs. 1.56), a seven percent increase in A25-54 rating (0.72 vs. 0.67) and in viewers (132,626 vs. 132,038), all when compared to their television ratings for the 2017 season.

Furthermore, 2018 television ratings on SportsNet LA outperformed those of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim broadcasts on FOX Sports West. When compared, SNLA rated 25 percent higher in HH rating (1.73 vs 1.38), 31 percent higher in A25-54 rating (0.72 vs. 0.55) and 28 percent higher in viewers (132,626 vs. 103,442).

That’s all despite DirecTV, Dish Network and several other pay-TV providers continuing to stonewall Spectrum in attempts to reach carriage agreements for the exclusive Dodgers network.

Along with setting a new high in ratings, SportsNet LA regularly gives back to the community by hosting groups and treating them to a VIP experience at Dodger Stadium, as well as staging skills camps that include instruction from the network’s personalities and former Major League players.

While national networks have taken over coverage, SportsNet LA is continuing with pre- and postgame programming for all Dodgers postseason games. Additionally, episodes of their flagship “Backstage: Dodgers” continue to air.
