Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training has been underway since last week, when pitchers and catchers reported for the start of their workouts.
They were accompanied by a slew of position players arriving early at Camelback Ranch, including Shohei Ohtani, Gavin Lux and Jason Heyward, among others. With the exception of Dinelson Lamet, all players are in camp for Dodgers Spring Training.
With that, the Dodgers held their first full-squad workout on Wednesday morning. Prior to players taking the backfields at Camelback Ranch, manager Dave Roberts delivered his first message to the entire Dodgers clubhouse.
Roberts focused on wanting players to embrace being in big moments that are sure to come throughout the season, and his belief that a collective want to be in a pressure spot will ultimately benefit the team as a whole.

In years past, Roberts has taken from late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant in learning to appreciate the path to success and not simply the result.
While the Dodgers roster includes several key players who have returned, there’s been an influx of newcomers, such as Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow and more.
The signings of Ohtani and Yamamoto have further heightened external expectations being placed on the Dodgers, though Roberts and general manager Brandon Gomes have been quick to note the franchise always has their sights set on a World Series.
That journey begins in South Korea on March 20, with the start of the Seoul Series.
Dodgers projections
As the 2024 Dodgers begin the process of coming together in quest of a World Series, PECOTA projections have them winning the National League West once again and leading all of baseball in runs scored.
