One week into 2022 Spring Training, the Los Angeles Dodgers held their annual Photo Day at Camelback Ranch on Thursday. It came the day prior to their Cactus League opener against Milwaukee Brewers and before Freddie Freeman arrived in camp.

Of course, there still is plenty of star power already on hand and many of them were featured in a behind-the-scenes video as the Dodgers’ social media team gave Brusdar Graterol and camera to document his experience on Photo Day.

Graterol began by first connecting with Victor Gonzalez before walking through the meal room. As he passed several teammates, one — possibly Cody Bellinger — appeared to object to his filming.

In addition to taking pictures for numerous services, Graterol also answered questions on video to be used throughout the season.

The fun-loving right-hander is entering his third season with the Dodgers and by now his infectious personality is no longer a surprise. Such was not quite the case as the team was still getting to know Graterol in 2020.

“He’s got this crazy big truck that he used to honk the horn when he would leave Summer Camp and we would all know that he was leaving,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said at the time.

“He’s in the ‘pen and he’s sort of like a cheerleader when a guy hits a homer or makes a big play. He’s kind of reenacting it, and guys have really gravitated towards him. It’s just that youthful enthusiasm component that is certainly refreshing.”

Graterol drove golf ball, worked out at MLBPA facility

The 23-year-old was among those to take advantage of the Players Association setting up a workout camp at Bell Bank Park in Mesa, Arizona, during the MLB lockout. Graterol also began taking up golfing with the extra time on his hands, and recently shared a video of an impressive drive at Topgolf.
