The Los Angeles Dodgers signed three of their 2026 MLB Draft selections to over-slot deals, agreeing to terms with Miles Gosztola, Aemed Nasser and Ethan Sutton, according to Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline.
The Dodgers were limited in both picks and bonus pool money in the 2026 Draft due to going over the luxury tax threshold again in 2025, and then signing Kyle Tucker and Edwin Díaz during the offseason.
Despite that, the Dodgers have now signed all but one of their draft picks. Most notably, they signed their first pick, Bo Lowrance, and gave him a $3 million signing bonus compared to the slot value of $2,504,200 for pick No. 40.

The only player who has not yet agreed to a contract is shortstop Max Irving Jr., who was selected out of Montverde Academy in Florida with the 553rd overall pick. Given the Dodgers’ limited bonus pool space, it seems unlikely they will sign him.
Still, agreeing to terms with at least 15 of their 16 selections is excellent work by the Dodgers. They have until Monday, July 27, at 2 p.m. PT to get a potential deal done with Irving.
In total, five of their signings ended up being over-slot, while the remaining 10 agreed to under-slot deals.
Entering the draft, the Dodgers had a bonus pool allotment of $3,951,900, which was by far the lowest of any club. Teams are also allowed to go over their allotment by 5%, but they face a tax of 75% on the overage amount.

Round 8: Miles Gosztola, $247,500/h2>
The Dodgers drafted Gosztola with the 253rd overall pick, which had a slot value of $218,500. He signed with the club for $247,500, giving him a deal over the slot value by $29,000.
The right-hander posted a 3.61 ERA to go along with a 26% strikeout rate for the Oregon Ducks this past season.
Round 15: Aemed Nasser, $175,000
One of three high schoolers the Dodgers selected, Nasser, is perhaps the most surprising signing, given that most late-round high schoolers usually opt to go to college.
The slot value of the 463rd overall pick was $150,000, but the Dodgers gave him $25,000 over the slot to sign at $175,000.
Central Pointe Christian Academy outfielder is the 189th-ranked prep player in the country and the 33rd-ranked outfielder, according to Perfect Game.
Round 16: Ethan Sutton, $175,000
The Dodgers took University of Central Florida’s closer with the 493rd pick and gave Sutton a bonus of $25,000 over the slot, which gave him the same value as Nasser.
Sutton led the Knights with nine saves and finished 3-3 with a 4.31 ERA across 48 innings. The redshirt sophomore averaged 10.5 strikeouts per nine innings.
