Dodgers Sellout Spring Training Games Against Angels & Cubs At Camelback Ranch

The Los Angeles Dodgers lead Major League Baseball in total attendance nearly every season, and fans are not shy about going to Spring Training games at Camelback Ranch in Arizona either.

At Dodger Stadium, the Dodgers have led the league in attendance for nine consecutive years and finished the 2022 season with 3,861,408 fans attending.

It was also the ninth time in the past 11 years that the Dodgers have reached the 3 million in attendance mark. The only exceptions came in 2020 and 2021, when fans were not permitted to attend and had a limited capacity for a portion of the season.

Although most of the Dodgers’ star players are now with their respective teams for the World Baseball Classic, fans are still showing up in droves at Camelback Ranch, which announced sellouts for their Friday and Saturday games against the Los Angeles Angels and Chicago Cubs.

On March 11, the Dodgers also have a split-squad game against the San Francisco Giants at Scottsdale Stadium, so an already short roster will be even tighter on Major League players.

This is not the first time this year the Dodgers have been involved in a sellout as the Angels previously sold out their game on March 3 at Tempe Diablo Stadium.

For fans hoping to see some weekend baseball, tickets still remain for the next weekend when the Dodgers host the Chicago White Sox and Oakland Athletics. Their last weekend games before Opening Day will be against the Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals on March 24-45.

The club will then return to Los Angeles for a three-game exhibition Freeway Series against the Angels from March 26-28. Opening Day is set for March 30 at Dodger Stadium, although it will be a night game with a 7:10 p.m. scheduled start.

Budweiser Clydesdales will be at Camelback Ranch on Saturday

Although the Budweiser Clydesdales did not make an appearance in the Super Bowl commercials this year, they will be at Camelback Ranch before the March 11th game against the Cubs, the stadium announced.

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats early to see the famous horses.
