ESPN’s initial “Sunday Night Baseball” schedule for the first half of the 2025 season includes the Los Angeles Dodgers featured in five of their broadcasts. In addition, the Dodgers could be schedule for more later in the year, as happened multiple times in 2024.
As previously announced, the Dodgers’ home opener against the Detroit Tigers will air live on ESPN on March 27. All of the Dodgers games on ESPN are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. PT.
The Opening Day game also includes the 2024 World Series champions banner raising ceremony, which will be broadcasted with coverage beginning one hour before the game as part of Baseball Tonight beginning at 3 p.m.
The next time the Dodgers play on “Sunday Night Baseball” is when they host the Chicago Cubs at Dodger Stadium on April 13. It will be the second meeting between the two clubs as they also begin the season with the Tokyo Series.
The Dodgers first road game on “Sunday Night Baseball” will be on May 4 as they travel to face the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. It’s part of two games in the month as the Dodgers also face the New York Mets at Citi field on May 25.
The final Dodgers game on the ESPN schedule is a rematch of the 2024 World Series as they host the New York Yankees on June 1.
Now in its 36th season of MLB coverage, ESPN broadcasts 25 Sunday Night Baseball games between late March and late September. Selections for additional Sunday Night Baseball games will be made up to two weeks prior to the date.
Additionally, ESPN exclusively broadcasts five more exclusive MLB games, including an Opening Day doubleheader, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby and the MLB Wild Card Series.
ESPN Sunday Night Baseball games are available on ESPN, the ESPN App, ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes. Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown generally airs on ESPN at 3 p.m. PT and serves as a one-hour Sunday Night Baseball pregame show.
