MLB and Apple announced the return of weekly doubleheaders for “Friday Night Baseball” during the 2026 season.

For the fourth year in a row, the broadcast teams will feature Wayne Randazzo (play-by-play), Dontrelle Willis (analyst) and Heidi Watney (reporter); and Alex Faust (play-by-play), Ryan Spilborghs (analyst), and Tricia Whitaker (reporter) with Rich Waltz, who will join the broadcast team to call select games during the season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were selected for three exclusive Apple TV+ streams through the first half of the 2026 “Friday Night Baseball” schedule, which extends through June 26.

The 2026 “Friday Night Baseball” schedule begins during opening weekend with the Los Angeles Angels at the Houston Astros, and the Cleveland Guardians playing the Seattle Mariners on March 27.

The Dodgers’ first appearance on Apple TV+ this season is April 24, for a road matchup with the Chicago Cubs. Next is their May 29 home game against the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Dodgers’ third Apple TV+ game is when they travel to play the San Diego Padres at Petco Park on June 26.

L.A. could potentially make even more appearances on Apple TV+ this season as the second half of the “Friday Night Baseball” schedule has not yet been released.

“Friday Night Baseball” is produced by MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning production team in partnership with Apple’s live sports production team.

“‘Friday Night Baseball’ on Apple TV continues to elevate how fans experience the game,” Apple’s vice president of Apple Music, Apple TV, Sports, and Beats, Oliver Schusser said.

“With cutting-edge production — including the integration of iPhone to capture immersive new perspectives — and a full season of marquee matchups available without local broadcast restrictions, we’re delivering a modern, premium broadcast experience designed for fans everywhere.”
