Dodgers Present Anthony Banda With 2025 World Series Ring

The Los Angeles Dodgers took a trip Northeast to face the Minnesota Twins starting on Monday, where they reunited with former teammate Anthony Banda.

The Dodgers have been busy this season handing out rings to members of their 2025 club. That, of course, included the ceremony during the second game of the season for the players currently on the Dodgers roster.

In addition, they have given the rings to players on the 2025 team who are no longer with the club when they face off against their new team, including Michael Conforto, Kirby Yates, Dustin May and more.

Banda became the latest player to receive his 2025 Dodgers World Series championship ring, along with a gold-trimmed hat and jersey.

Banda was presented the ring by his former teammates, highlighted by other members of last year’s bullpen.

Banda was both a member of the 2024 and 2025 World Series championship teams, but he was traded to Minnesota in the offseason as the Dodgers faced a roster crunch with their bullpen.

The veteran has been part of 13 MLB organizations throughout his career and didn’t find much success until joining the Dodgers, his 12th organization, during the 2024 season after being designated for assignment by the Cleveland Guardians.

“He just wants to be valued,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on SportsNet LA. “He’s in good hands with Derek, and I thought we did a great job with him, he did a great job for us. And like all players, they just want to be seen. They want to be valued.

“He picked us up in big spots, he wants to pitch every night, never complained. He was great on the team.”

Anthony Banda’s Dodgers career

In his first season with the Dodgers, Banda tossed 49.2 innings with a 3.08 ERA, 23.9% strikeout rate and 8.6% walk rate while helping L.A. win the 2024 World Series on the strength of their relief corps as one of the “Bullpen Dogs.”

Banda led the bullpen with 71 appearances in 2025, but saw some regression with a FIP that rose by nearly one run from 3.67 to 4.52, a strikeout rate that declined by 1%, and a walk rate that increased by 4%.

Still, he played a role in the postseason on another championship team by tossing one scoreless inning in the National League Division Series and 1.2 scoreless innings in the NL Championship Series.

The two-time World Series champion finished his tenure with the Dodgers, posting a 3.14 ERA in 114.2 innings.
