The Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves are part of respective races in the National League standings, and will play in front of a national audience during their series at Truist Park in September.
At present time, the Dodgers are in first place in the NL West but have seen their lead over the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks trimmed significantly.
The Braves currently are in the third and final Wild Card spot, narrowly ahead of the New York Mets.
Regardless of what the MLB standings will be come Sept. 13, the Dodgers and Braves figure to draw plenty of attention as two of baseball’s most popular franchises.

Braves hosting 2025 MLB All-Star Game
Truist Park will be in the spotlight again next year when the Braves host the 2025 MLB All-Star Game on July 15.
The Braves previously hosted an MLB All-Star Game in 1972 at Atlanta Stadium, and in 2000 at Turner Field. The Braves were awarded the 2021 All-Star Game as well but MLB moved it to Coors Field due to concerns with a Georgia voting law.
The Braves franchise has also hosted an All-Star Game in Boston in 1936, and in Milwaukee in 1955 before moving to Atlanta for the 1966 season.
