Dodgers Players Make Super Bowl LVII Picks

The Philadelphia Phillies and Kansas City Chiefs conclude the NFL season on Sunday when they meet in Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

That is just a 10-minute drive from where the Los Angeles Dodgers hold Spring Training at Camelback Ranch. The Super Bowl signals the unofficial start of baseball being on the clock, and also been a talking point among players.

Super Bowl 57 offers plenty of intrigue as Andy Reid is facing his former team, it’s the first time brothers have played each other with a championship on the line, and one of the top-rated defenses in NFL history is tasked with slowing down a quarterback who has already proven to be among the game’s best.

Over recent weeks multiple Dodgers players were asked for their Super Bowl LVII picks.

“Eagles,” Yency Almonte responded. “I think the Eagles are going to win it.”

That is in line with who Evan Phillips is siding with, though he has stronger ties.

“My in-laws are huge Eagles fans, and now I am an Eagles fan by association,” Phillips explained. “So I’ll be pulling for the Eagles.”

Meanwhile, Super Bowl interest was much more tepid for Justin and Kourtney Turner, who were asked about the big game while speaking at their seventh annual Justin Turner Golf Classic.

“Hopefully it’s a good game,” Turner, a noted Miami Dolphins fan, said.”Not really too invested.”

Kourtney, who roots for the Chicago Bears, added: “Our teams are out, so may the best team win. I hope my squares hit.”
