Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Walker Buehler was back in his home state of Kentucky this week to host the third annual Walker Buehler Celebrity Charity Golf Outing at the Lexington Country Club.
This year’s event benefitted PanCAN, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, whose mission is to “take bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer by advancing scientific research, building community, sharing knowledge, and advocating for patients.”
Former Dodgers teammate and current Cincinnati Reds infielder Kyle Farmer was among those who teed off. Country music singer Chase Rice, and Kentucky Wildcats alums Jacob Tamme and Tim Couch were also present for the event.
The Walker Buehler Family Foundation is also holding a silent auction that features an array of autographed memorabilia, with proceeds going to PanCAN.
Bidding on auction items concludes at 8:59 p.m. PT on Friday, November 25. Among the listings are 14 different pairs of autographed Buehler cleats, two autographed 2020 World Series baseballs, two standard autographed baseballs and two signed Dodgers jerseys.
Other items available to bid on include an autographed Buehler nameplate from the 2021 MLB All-Star Game, a signed Derek Jeter New York Yankees jersey, an autographed Magic Johnson Los Angeles Lakers jersey and a motorized ride-on cooler by Whiskey Chariot that was personalized for Buehler.
