Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani and Teoscar Hernández represented the Los Angeles Dodgers on the 2024 All-MLB Team. Betts and Ohtani received First Team honors, and Hernández was included on the Second Team.

Ohtani, Betts and Hernández each won a Silver Slugger Award as well. In doing so they combined to make Dodgers franchise history as the first time the team has had three Silver Slugger winners in a single season.

Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, Jack Flaherty and Alex Vesia were additional Dodgers included on the list of 115 players who were nominated for All-MLB honors.

Selections for the All-MLB Team 2024 were announced during the “All-MLB Team Show” from The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas. The awards show kicked off the second annual All-MLB Weekend in Las Vegas.

Additional awards unveiled in Las Vegas during the live All-MLB show included the Hank Aaron winners, Comeback Players of the Year, Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman Relievers of the Year, and Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter of the Year.

Fans and a panel of experts voted for their choices at catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop, three outfielders (without regard for specific position) and designated hitter, along with five starting pitchers and two relief pitchers for each of the First Team and Second Team.

The All-MLB Team awards were introduced in 2019 to give a more comprehensive honor that covered the full scope of a regular season.

Dodgers on All-MLB Team 2024

Mookie Betts: First Team

Betts is now a five-time All-MLB Team selection and third year in a row earning First Team honors. Although he missed multiple months this year because of a left hand fracture, Betts put together another fantastic season.

Listed as an outfielder for All-MLB voting purposes, Betts hit .290 with an .867 on-base plus slugging percentage, 24 doubles, 19 home runs with 75 RBI to go along with 16 stolen bases.

Teoscar Hernández: Second Team

Hernández set a career high with 33 home runs that also led all National League outfielders. He batted .270 with an .839 OPS with 32 doubles and an NL-best 99 RBI.

Hernández has twice received All-MLB honors in his career, with the previous selection coming in 2021.

Shohei Ohtani: First Team

Ohtani finished the season batting .310 with a 1.040 OPS while becoming the first player in MLB history to join the 50-50 club as he finished with 54 home runs and 59 stolen bases.

Ohtani earned a fourth consecutive All-MLB selection.

The two-way star was selected to either team as both a designated hitter and starting pitcher in each of the last three seasons.

Ohtani received First Team honors as a DH and was named to the Second Team as starting pitcher in 2021, First Team as a pitcher and Second Team in 2022, and First Team in both categories last year.
