Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Mookie Betts has continued to prove his value to the franchise and is now looking to connect with fans off the field.
Betts recently held a Livestream on Twitch in early December on his channel mookiebetts5050, where he teamed up with pro gamers on Apex Legends, a battle royale first-person shooter video game.
Betts is a known fan of gaming and following the success of his most recent stream, he is hosting a live ‘just chatting’ session on Thursday, December 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. PT.
Betts encouraged fans to join his 5050 Squad Discord server to take part in the Q&A session to take part in the unique experience.

During the MLB lockout, Betts started a YouTube gaming channel and although he hasn’t been active in posting on there, it’s worth a follow to stay up to date if this uptick in gaming means there’ll be more activity going forward at MookieBettsGaming on YouTube.
Mookie Betts receives award
Betts was recently honored for his dedication and hard work both in MLB and in his community after receiving the Brotherhood Crusade’s 2022 Pioneer of African American Achievement Award. The event was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel this past Friday.
The award is a “prestigious recognition presented to individuals that have made significant contributions in their industry and made an impact in the community by improving the quality of life for youth and families through education, advocacy, and community building.”
The Brotherhood Crusade recognized Betts for his philanthropic work through his foundation Acts Inspired by Mookie (AIM), which focuses on community and food insecurity that has plagued many parts of the country.
The event featured three-time Grammy Award Winner, Ne-Yo, and Mike Phillips.
